Abstract

A rarely described Achilles tendon lesion resulting from Haglund's disease and its repair is presented. An analysis of the respective clinical records was carried out. Haglund's resection was performed from a 3 cm lateral transverse approach. A coincidental anterior Achilles tendon partial tear was repaired by transversal U-sutures. A minimally invasive repair of a partial tear of the anterior Achilles tendon is feasible and effective.
