Abstract
Minimal linear codes as a special class of linear codes attract much interest for their application in secret sharing schemes and secure two-party computation. It is interesting to characterize minimal linear codes with kinds of mathematical tools and construct more minimal linear codes. This letter considers minimal linear codes constructed from the defining sets formed by vectors with given weights, follows the method in (“Minimal linear codes from characteristic functions, IEEE Trans. Inf. Theory. DOI: 10.1109/TIT.2020.2978387), and fully characterizes these minimal linear codes by weights.
