Abstract

A novel compact half-wavelength cross-coupled stepped-impendence resonator filter using low-temperature co-fired ceramic technology is presented. The size is miniaturized due to the low-temperature co-fired ceramic structure, while the stopband rejection is largely enhanced by introducing source-load coupling. A fourth-order stepped-impendence resonator filter with the first spurious response of about 2.5 times away from the center frequency is fabricated. Good agreement between measured and simulated results is observed.
