Abstract

Miniature high pressure cells made from nonmagnetic materials were developed for studies in high magnetic fields at low temperatures. The piston-cylinder, diamond anvil and sapphire cells operate up to the highest pressures available for each class of cell. The hydrostatic cells are used both for transport and optical studies.
