Abstract
Boson stars are self-gravitating solutions made entirely of fundamental massive scalar fields. Here we investigate mini boson stars in D non-compact spacetime dimensions and we show that they are dynamically unstable for D>4\\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \\usepackage{amsmath} \\usepackage{wasysym} \\usepackage{amsfonts} \\usepackage{amssymb} \\usepackage{amsbsy} \\usepackage{mathrsfs} \\usepackage{upgreek} \\setlength{\\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \\begin{document}$$D>4$$\\end{document}.
