Abstract
Based on new field materials the winter game chanting by the "Walking with the Goat" rite was researched. This rite was preserved in the memory of the inhabitants of the group of villages by Lyuboml’ district of the Volyn region. Three composite versions of tunes have been determined, interdialekt parallels have been observed and cultural-genetic and historical assumptions have been made.
