Abstract

The article presents a number of research results of applying Ho Chi Minh's wisdom of education and Japan’s experience in primary education that are related to Education for All; linking learning with practicing, linking school education with family and social education; implementing of comprehensive education which aims at maximizing the potential of each student; ensuring the close relationship between pedagogical universities and schools; renovating school governance; thereby proposing practical applications to primary education in Vietnam in order to meet the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive education reform.
