Abstract

The mining of coal is dangerous, and the mine tunnel ventilation system is an important component of the coal mine safety production system, so the determination of the wind speed of the mine tunnel becomes an essential task. Most of the current wind speed measurement methods can only achieve single-point measurement, which is not suitable for the measurement of the average wind speed of the mine tunnel section. In this paper, starting from the basic principle of ultrasonic wind speed detection, an adaptive five-point threshold ultrasonic time of flight detection method is proposed to achieve stable measurement of ultrasonic time of flight. A mining ultrasonic wind speed measurement system is built, and the wind tunnel experimental platform is used to verify the mining ultrasonic wind speed measurement system, which shows that the measurement accuracy is better than 0.09m/s in the wind speed range of 0-12.5m/s.
