Abstract
Due to the coal mine safety requirements for a new generation of methane sensor in recent years, coal mine methane sensor laser has attracted more and more attention. Based on the principle of laser absorption spectroscopy, mine laser methane sensor was developed, a series of detailed performance test were carried out. Compared with traditional catalytic combustion sensor and infrared sensor, laser methane sensor has many advantages, such as large range, high precision, low power consumption and calibration free. In the application of the coal mine safety monitoring, the superior performance of the laser methane sensor has been verified, and it has good application prospects.
