Abstract

Recently, the currents of Christianity or other worldviews have become more frequent, the followers of which claim that service in the military formations of the state, protection of the homeland is connected with murder, which, in their opinion, violates the fundamental commandment of the Bible. The argument is the commandment of Christ about the love of the enemy and the second cheek. These views, at first glance, indeed find their basis in Scripture, but only at first glance. The question is: can the Christian Church justify the war paid for the defense of the homeland and, consequently, the forced murder of the enemy, the theological death of the enemy? Of course it can. His paper is quite strong and argumentative, based on Scripture, and presents the vain, sectarian, and narrow-minded thinking of pseudo-peacekeepers.
