Abstract

Abstract This chapter focuses on balsam twig aphid (Mindarus abietinus) attacking Abies balsamea and Picea glauca in Canada, and provides an overview of the biological control agents, parasitoids and predators that have been used to date for its management especially in Quebec, and the effectiveness of natural predators Anatis mali and Harmonia axyridis. Future research prospects are recommended.
