Abstract

We demonstrate optical rectification in BNA organic crystals using bursts of pulses from a high-power thin-disk oscillator at 13.3 MHz repetition rate. We measure an average power of 0.95 mW at 10% duty cycle with a conversion efficiency of 4×10 -4 . To the best of our knowledge, this is the highest average power reported with commercially available BNA so far. The detected THz spectrum bandwidth spans up to 6 THz.
