Abstract
This article reveals the content of modern requirements for the officer-commander of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, according to which the training and education of cadets and students of the Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan is carried out. It should be noted that the concept of "leadership" in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan is determined by commanding qualities - spiritual and moral, military professional, personal. The Central Asian idea of leadership differs from the Western one in that it is inextricably linked with the team and is built on the principle of integrity and unity.
