Abstract

Subject. The article addresses Russia's sovereignty protection in the face of destructive factors. Objectives. The aim is to compare Russia and NATO member countries in terms of military potential, analyze the directions of reorganization of the Russian military economy. Methods. The study employs methods of systems analysis. Results. We established that militarily and economically, Russia turned out to be more developed. It used the sanctions pressure as an opportunity to really increase the efficiency of the entire social production. Conclusions. Only achieving the synchronization of socio-economic and military strategic planning, improving the quality of military and political and macroeconomic forecasting, with extensive use of artificial intelligence, and considering the Soviet experience in mobilization of the economy, will make it possible to ensure social progress and national security under permanent sanctions pressure.
