Abstract
Traditional software projects designed and developed in house to fit a specific or small set of functions. It’s typically much smaller than enterprise system, most of these required more time, cost to develop, not integrated, and requirements unclear. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is considered high risk, large, complex, and usually unfamiliar to organization. Furthermore, implementation entails tight timetable, business process reengineering and many changes. This paper presents proposed development model, start with planning to operation phase. The aim of this model is to allow development companies to develop traditional projects with ERP characteristics to adaptive with environment change based on business process concepts. The proposed model is based on integration among three structure models; Waterfall, Iterative, and XP model. This model combines main features of these approaches and be compatible with unique features of ERP. This development model characterized by looking to company as enterprise architecture surrounded by change management and business development components. Also prototyping is an integral part of the development and addresses the problems early through preparation phase of ERP life cycle, ERP implementation is performed iteratively. By using proposed model, organization can reduce risk, failure, and improve the probability of project success
