Abstract
A case of migration of a Kirschner wire from the right clavicle into the right pulmonary artery is presented. The lethal potential of migrating orthopedic metallic fixation devices is evident. Frequent postoperative radiographic examinations should be made. If migration of the device occurs, early removal seems indicated.
