Abstract

Whatever their discipline or place of practice, caregivers inevitably encounter migrants, foreign nationals who are ill and often inreal physical and psychological distress. It is important that all caregivers are aware of the internationaland national legal rights protecting migrants, social security cover, state medical assistance andsupplementary universal health insurance.
