Abstract

Contemporary international migrations are limited to the consolidation of global economy, political structuring of societies and ethnicities generation. On the basis of this broad consensus, the research focuses on the economic, political or ethnic groups involved. In this article we analyze the particularity of these processes taking into account the characteristics of immigration in Argentina border. Our emphasis is on the uruguayan immigration process lived in that country, according to their demographics and their associations aspects. With respect to the latter, we consider their general characteristics and the criteria which often conduct the different groupings.
