Abstract

Aims: Recent reports have shown multi-slice spiral computed tomography (MSCT) to be useful in the evaluation of aortocoronary bypass graft patency with a sensitivity and specifity of almost 100%. Since longterm-results of ongoing studies are lacking, the value of the radial artery (RA) in coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is discussed controversely. This study evaluates the midterm-patency of the RA by new-generation scanners.
