Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the learning system in schools, which was originally done offline, now it is done online. However, several problems arise related to the learning process carried out. This study wanted to find out about students' interest in online learning. The purpose of this study was to find out how much middle school students interest in learning sprinting online running during new normal. The study is quantitative descriptive research, with method in this study used is a survey with a questionnaire data collection technique in the form of a questionnaire. The population in this study were students of SMP Informatika Bina Generasi Ciomas Bogor in class VIII, totaling 5 classes, consisting of 150 people. The sample in this study was class VIII-B with a total of 30 students. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis as outlined in the form of a percentage. The results of this study indicate that the results of the study indicate that the interest of middle school students in online-based sprinting learning during the Covid-19 New Normal period is included in the high category. Where of the 30 respondents in the very high category as many as 5 students (17%), high category as many 17 students (56%), the medium category as many as 3 students (10%), the low category as many as 3 students (10%), and the very category. low as much as 2 students (7%). The conclusion of this study is that the interest of middle school students in online-based sprinting learning during the Covid-19 New Normal period is more dominant on intrinsic factors.
