Abstract

Physiologic waveforms from coronary care patients can be acquired in real time, stored on digital magnetic tape, and subsequently displayed on a graphic display terminal. Using an associated keyboard the investigator can display data from single heartbeats, change scale factors, and select arbitrary intervals of data for further analysis. Many different display programs can be written using a package of FORTRAN callable subroutines. The subroutine package and two programs which use this package are discussed. Examples of typical displays are shown.
