Abstract

The Mid-America Computerized Tomography (CIT) Experiment, collected data from June through December 1993. The authors used Doppler and amplitude measurements made at nine locations and various CIT algorithms to reconstruct two-dimensional ionospheric electron density profiles. Two digital ionosondes, operating in Texas and Oklahoma, provided validation data. The experiment also included HF geolocation measurements with two target transmitters and an interferometric HF single site location (SSL) system. The paper presents early analysis results.
