Abstract

Objectives To evaluate the effects of different combination antihypertensive therapy on sexual function in middle-aged hypertensive women on the basis of the blood pressure is up to the standard level. Methods A total of 112 female patients aged 49.3±7.4 with hypertension and 40 healthy women were studied. The study population consisted of consecutive, sexually active women, with grade 1 and grade 2 hypertension (BP≥140/90mmHg and<160/100mmHg) who was newly diagnosed and not taking any drugs more than one month were enrolled.
