Abstract

Abstract This is a film dosimetry study in a phantom showing the mid-sagittal plane dose distribution when two opposed lateral fields are abutted on the skin to an anterior supraclavicular field, no correction for beam divergence is made, and the anterior midline block is omitted. A modification of this set-up is presented as an alternative to avoid the overlap created at the level of the spinal cord.
