Abstract

Spoof Surface Plasmon Polaritons In article number 1600316, Jia Yuan Yin, Tie Jun Cui, and co-workers propose a novel way to generate microwave vortex beams by spoof surface plasmon polaritons. Beam emitting is accomplished through circular patches, whose role is not only the radiation units, but also resonators giving rise to the phase shifts required by the vortex beam. Different orbital angular momentum modes are generated at different frequencies without any change in the structure.
