Abstract

The ground state microwave rotational spectra of 2,4-difluorophenol have been investigated and analyzed in the frequency region: 18.0–37.0 GHz using Radiofrequency-Microwave Double Resonance (RFMWDR) and conventional microwave spectroscopic technique. A least-squares analysis of a-type R-branch and b-type Q-branch lines yields a set of rotational and centrifugal distortion constants. The derived rotational constants correspond to the cis conformer of the molecule. A tentative r 0-structure of the cis conformer is proposed.
