Abstract

It is well known that a spin-torque microwave detector (STMD) can be used for the determination of a frequency of an external microwave signal. In this paper an array principle in the construction of STMD-based nanodevices is proposed and its efficiency is analyzed. In the paper two distinct techniques that can be used for microwave signal detection and frequency measuring are considered, one is based on the application of independent STMDs, while the other utilizes spin-wave-coupled detectors. The obtained results can be useful for the design of dynamically tuned microwave frequency detectors with a wide frequency operation range and a small frequency determination error, suitable for many microwave applications.
