Abstract
The remote sensing of environments has been studied at Department of Geophysics, Peking University. There exist the following items: microwave remote sensing of atmospheric sounding, cloud water content, rain intensity and weather; microwave remote sensing of ground truth; optical remote sensing of atmospheric pollution and satellite remote sensing of East Asian dust storm and aerosol. In this paper, a general discussion was made for the above items.
