Abstract

ABSTRACTProblems related to water content measurements in various substances by using microwave methods are presented. Principles of operation of microwave moisture meters are discussed and the requirements for the microwave sensors are stated. A broad view of microwave methods and instruments used around the world is presented. Some possible future developments are suggested.
