Abstract
This paper presents the design, realization and results of C- and S-band Mux & Demux filters and networks, developed and used in India's indigenously built second generation multipurpose satellite, INSAT-II. The importance and criticality of this subsystem in the communications payload and equivalent foreign exchange savings made because of this indigenous development are also briefly described in this paper.
