Abstract

In this paper, hollow flower-like Zn2V2O7 have been prepared by a rapid microwave-assisted hydrothermal method. The diameter of microflower is about 3.0–4.0 μm and the thickness of subunit nanosheet is about 12.9–15.5 nm. As anode of lithium ion half cell, the as-synthesized powder delivers an initial discharge capacity of 1179 mAh g−1, which maintain of 882.5 mAh g−1 after 100 cycles at 50 mA g−1 in 0.01–3.00 V. The cyclability is significantly higher than that of the reported single nanoparticles, which can be attributed to the unique hollow nano/micro structure.
