Abstract

AbstractIn this work, we present a copper‐catalyzed rapid and efficient method for cross‐coupling of N‐hydroxy benzotriazole with boronic acids under microwave irradiation for the synthesis of 1‐aryl benzotriazole 3‐oxides. This protocol tolerates a wide range of substituted boronic acids to provide the corresponding products in good to excellent yields. The features of this strategy include a broad substrate scope, high functional group tolerance, short reaction time, and good to excellent yields.
