Abstract
Electroceutical Suture Microstructured fiber, reported in article number 2201854 by Louis A. van der Elst, Merve Gokce, and co-workers, autonomously induces an electric field to a wound, suppressing the proliferation of multiresistant bacteria. The fiber, weaved into gauze, spooled into a sponge, or used as a surgical suture, provides a non-drug, easy-to-produce enhancement to an antibiotic wound treatment.
