Abstract
Al(1−x)CoCrFeNiTix high-entropy alloy (HEA) coatings were prepared by HVOF technology with atomic ratio of 0 ∼ 0.25 (x = 0, 0.125, 0.25). The microstructure, phase composition and sliding wear behavior of the coatings were studied. The results show that the Al(1−x)CoCrFeNiTix HEA coatings have compact structure. The coatings include B2 phase and A2 phase. Besides, the coatings have good sliding wear resistance. The wear failure mechanism of the AlCoCrFeNi coating is mainly three body abrasive wear, oxidative wear and fatigue wear. With the increase of replacement Ti, the degree of abrasive wear decreases gradually and the wear resistance and the effect of oxidation wear increases.
