Abstract
In this study, a new Ni-base alloy (NiCrFeBMn) coatings were prepared by using the extreme high-speed laser cladding technique. The effects of laser power on the microstructure, hardness, wear and corrosion resistance of laser cladding coatings are investigated in detail. The results demonstrate that the NiCrFeBMn alloy coating deposited with 2500 W laser power has the highest property of wear-resisting, and the coating deposited with 3000 W laser power possesses excellent corrosion resistance characteristic.
