Abstract
The half-lives of two isomeric states in 125Sb have been measured as 5.7(3) and 28.0(7) µs respectively. Conversion coefficients for the transitions depopulating the isomeric states have also been measured and based on these, the 1971.8 keV state is assigned a spin and parity of 15/2− and the state at 2112.7 keV is assigned a spin and parity of 19/2−. These states have been interpreted as the g7/2 proton coupled to the known isomeric 5− and 7− states in the 124Sn core.
