Abstract
Abstract Facile Si-Si bond cleavage reactions of cation radicals of jet-cooled clusters of (p-cyanophenyl)pentamethyldisilane with H2O or CH3OH were found to occur via intracluster nucleophilic attack of a solvent molecule by means of resonance-enhanced two photon ionization mass spectrometry.
