Abstract

Nuclear structure of 132Ba is investigated within a framework of the pair-truncated shell model. The model reproduces experimental energy levels of the magnetic dipole band with the ν(h211/2) ⊗ π(h11/2g7/2) configuration. From the analysis of its structure, it turns out that two angular momenta of valence neutrons and protons gradually close as total spin increases.
