Microscopic effective charges and quadrupole moments of sd-shell and sd-pf cross-shell nuclei with Z≥13
Highlights
The nuclear quadrupole moment, is considered as a probe for the deviation of nuclear charge from spherical symmetry
Results based on the sd-shell interactions USDB for sd-shell model space [14] and the sdpf interaction sdpf-u [15] for sdpf model space with valence protons are restricted to the sd shell and N-20 neutrons to the pf shell
The Hamiltonian USDB leads to a new level of precision for realistic shell model wave functions
