Abstract

This paper presents the results of microscopic analysis and chemical composition of building materials ,ie. bricks and connective material removed from the facade of the high school 'Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj' in Novi Sad. The goal is to, based on the results of SEM and EDS analysis of microscopic images, as well as on the basis of photographs made IR - camera, and a comparative analysis of the brick, which is, for sure, knows that is baked, prove that high school facade 'Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj' in Novi Sad terracotta. On the basis of chemical analysis it can be concluded that the addition of iron and aluminum are also traces of magnesium, titanium and alkali metals as impurity substances are clay. Inhomogeneous structure is observed in the micrographs confirmed at the ceramic substance, type of bricks and can only be used for construction. The presence of iron oxides suggests that the facade of the high school 'Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj' in Novi Sad terracotta.

METODE ISPITIVANJA

U ovom radu vršena je SEM (Scanning electronic microscopy) i EDS (Energy dispersive spectroscopy) analiza opeke fasade gimnazije „Jovan Jovanović Zmaj” u Novom Sadu, za koju se smatra da je terakota. Uzorak je analiziran i upotrebom IC kamere. Uzorkovanje materijala Prilikom uzimanja uzoraka korišćene su metode rada prihvaćene arheološkom praksom i tehnikom uzorkovanja. Shodno tome na raspolaganju su bili samo takvi uzorci i takva količina uzoraka koja se toleriše po zakonu, pa i sa takvim ograničenjima dobijeni su dragoceni, novi rezultati. Pre primene hemijske analize svaki uzorak je fotografisan pomoću mikroskopa Leica (x100) i Carl Zeiss Jena (x1000). Oba mikroskopa koriste digitalne kamere povezane sa računarom i predstavljaju AOM. Struktura uzorka istražena su pomoću SEM-EDS, s JEOL JSM-6460LV. Uzorci su obloženi zlatom WD 50 mm, na 30 mA, vreme trajanja 180 sekundi EDS su obavljeni sa EDS Oxford Instrumentima, pri čemu je korišćen program INCA-X-Sight 7.573.Veličina uzorka za SEM-EDS, EDXRF je 0.2 mg [7-10]
