Abstract

Chronic low-grade inflammation in adipose tissue is the central link of obesity, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease and other metabolic diseases. It is important to study the regulation of chronic low-grade inflammation in adipose tissue, which will help us to prevent and treat obesity and related diseases. MicroRNA is a class of small non-coding RNA, and is responsible for the regulation of gene expression.Studies show that miRNA could regulate macrophage, classical inflammatory signaling pathway and inflammatory factors and anti-inflammatory factors. Key words: Chronic low-grade inflammation; MicroRNA; Lipid metabolism; Inflammatory cytokines
