Abstract

A handscaled analysis of micropulsation activity at Lerwick Observatory has been carried out which shows some agreement with previous handscaled work using different equipment. Day and nighttime activity are confirmed to occupy essentially different period ranges, and a correlation of Pi activity with acceptable auroral zone current models is indicated. High energy particle fluxes are suggested as a source of Pc activity.
