Abstract

Micro-arc oxidation, bis-[3-triethoxysilopropyl] tetrasulfide and reduced graphene oxide composite film was prepared on AA 6061 using a combination of micro-arc oxidation and self-assembly. The morphological、chemical characteristics、corrosion resistance and film formation mechanism of the composite film were studied. The results showed that a complete and dense composite film was formed on the surface of aluminum alloy, which may be due to the formation of Al–O–Si, Si–O–Si and Si–O–C chemical bonds on aluminum alloy by self-assembly doping technology. The composite film effectively prevented the corrosive medium from contacting the aluminum alloy, thus protecting the aluminum alloy substrate.
