Abstract

Microplastic, i.e. size 300µm-5000µm, deposition flux and morphology, i.e. type (line, fragment), size (length and area) and colour, were measured in dry and wet atmospheric fallouts sampled at Ho Chi Minh City at three sites (CC: Cu Chi; D10 district 10; PH Phuoc Hiep), two times a month, from June 2018 until June 2019. Dry and wet atmospheric fallouts were analysed in the lab for microplastic extraction following the steps: sieving, enzygmatic digestion, naCl density separation, filtration on GF-A filter and stereomicroscope analysis (300-5000µm).
