Abstract
Front Cover: In artcle number 2100328 by Julian Tobias Windbiel and Audrey Llevot, microgels from three acrylate monomers are synthesized via miniemulsion polymerization. The particle size is tuned between 21 and 91 nm. The dependence of the surfactant concentration, crosslinker concentration, and the sonication time and amplitude is investigated. The acrylate monomers are synthesized with yields up to 94% using the Passerini-three-component reaction.
