Abstract

With the availability of microcomputers, mathematics classes have the opportunity to explore topics in number theory that have previously been ignored or treated superficially. The exploration of problems in number theory permits a further understanding of the BASIC language by introducing new computer functions. One topic that couples number theory to programming is palindromes.
