Abstract

The researches where carried out in the Vegetable Growing Department experimental plots between 2006-2008. For the comprehensive microclimate study where used the latest technology gadgets: termohigrometer Aquaterr T300 (used for soil temperature and humidity determination), termohigrometer HI 9161 (used for soil and environment temperature readings, air humidity readings), light intensity meter Testo 545. The paper wants to reveal the differences between microclimate conditions in two constructive types of unheated greenhouses. Regarding the soil evapotranspiration rate all the unmulched experimental variants recorded the highest evapotranspiration rate compared with the black plastic films mulched variants. The microclimate conditions where properly controlled in the double covered polyethylene tunnel compared with the unheated greenhouse. The temperature, air humidity and light intensity where efficient conducted in the case of double cover protection.
