Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the thermo-hygrometric behavior in diverse urban landscapes. To carry it out, ten weather stations were designed and installed in different neighborhoods of the Bahia Blanca city (Argentina) during 408 days. One record of temperature and relative humidity was recorded every thirty minutes. Diverse statistical analysis was used to analyze the information. The study was carried out on different timescales: annual, seasonal, monthly, daily, day and night. The results allowed identifying different responses of the urban temperature and the humidity, allowing to explain the local climate. The site conditions and the roughness of the terrain were the most important elements to determine the behavior of these meteorological parameters.
