Abstract
Objective To explore a method of repairing microform cleft lip.Methods Reconstruet orbicularis oris muscle through intraoral incision opposite to the affected philtral ridge;Augment the depressed deformity using postauricular dermis fat graft though the canal of the upper lip;Correct the notching of the Cupid's bow through Z-plasty and dermis fat graft;Lift and fix the alar cartilage,and advance the alar base medially to reduce the cleft-site nostril.Results 8 patients were operated with this method,in which 7 patients were followed-up with satisfactory results.Conclusion It is a useful method to repair microform cleft lip using dermis fat graft through the intraoral incision.
