Abstract
Introduction: Acute cholecystitis (AC) is one of the most common surgical emergencies. Percutaneous cholecystostomy (PC) could be the treatment of choice for selected patients. In AC patients, It is crucial to target antibiotic therapy, therefore, bile and blood cultures play a fundamental role.
